The Hip Girls Guide to Homemaking Book Giveaway!

I first discovered The Hip Girls Guide to Homemaking blog about a year ago when I was looking for some good homesteading literature to read up on. When I came across Kate Payne’s blog I was instantly crushing. The prefect mix of DIY, design, and yummy foods. What more could a boy ask for?

Fast forward a year later and now she’s got herself a book, appropriately titled, The Hip Girls Guide to Homemaking. When I received my copy of the book last Friday I began anxiously flipping through the pages and fell instantly in love. The book is split up into three sections: A guide to building a “homey” house, DIY home projects, and cooking in the home (including a fantastic chapter on canning and preserving). It’s now Tuesday, and I’ve just about read the book from cover to cover. It’s fabulously written, and almost makes you feel as if you are kicking back over a cup of coffee with Kate Payne herself.

The best part is, the wonderful people at Harper Collins have generously given me a copy of the book to do a giveaway. That’s right, you too can own a copy of The Hip Girls Guide to Homemaking, and learn to be just as awesome as Kate.

The rules are simple. Just share your favorite household tip in the comments below for a chance to win. All comments must be entered before Sunday, April 30th 12:00am EST. Good luck, and I look forward to hearing all your hip tips!
